The Koa Bug

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw isn't it cute? Yes it is! This is a Koa Bug ( Coleotichus blackburniae ). They're native to Hawaii and it's the prettiest I've seen so far that are native to the USA. I love these things. I can't wait until I'm able to go to Hawaii and see these and others types of insects and spiders that have so many different colors. If you do a Google Search on them you'll find loads of info on these beauties. Today was really good. Next week Thanks Giving is here and then x-mas! Like I said before time goes by too fast. Any way here is the link that I got the picture of the wonderful Koa Bug from: http://hbs.bishopmuseum.org/good-bad/koabug.html It also has an article on it. Enjoy learning about it!
